The Maui Jim Brown Sport Sunglasses Case is an all-weather neoprene case that features a swivel hangman clip, a soft protective liner, and the Maui Jim logo on the top of the case. The Brown Sport Case fits most Maui Jim styles (with more capacity than the older Black Sport Case) and comes with a Large storage bag that doubles as a cleaning cloth.

Bad zipper design,
The Maui Jim Brown Sport Case is a bit bulky, though no more so than other Maui Jim cases. Don’t expect it to fit into the pocket of any but the baggiest of cargo shorts. The included pouch doubles as a cleaning cloth, which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, this design uses a zipper to keep the case closed and the zipper is slow, stiff, and cumbersome to pull around the corners of the case. The zipper tab broke off of my case after less than three weeks of approximately daily use. I would now need a pair of needle-nose pliers to zip the case shut.

|Great sunglasses, terrible case,
We purchased two pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses. We love the sunglasses but the zipper on these cases is the worst. The fabric and stitching is really low quality-it shreds at the edges of the zipper causing it to get stuck. I have trimmed and trimmed the loose fabric and finally got it under control but the zipper is also of very low quality and hard to open and close. We have tried zipper wax which helps but one zipper pull was lost in less than two weeks making that one a fingernail or pliers pull. The other is still in tact but I don’t expect it to last much longer. $200.00 glasses ought to come with a functional case.
