Once in a lifetime, when you find someone who really makes you happy, you’ll want to celebrate your time together in a truly special place. Maui’s towns are surprisingly cosmopolitan and you’ll find somewhere good to eat no matter what style you prefer. You’ll also find plenty of bars which continue serving late into the evening.Maui is a wonderful place to take a stroll along the beach or along the cliff tops, looking out over the vast blue ocean. At sunset that ocean turns to fire, and you can see rivers of real fire flowing down the slopes of the island’s volcanoes.The night sky over Maui is amazing, with the whole Milky Way spread out bright and clear against the darkness of space. It’s easy to find a quiet spot to lie back among the tropical plants and watch for shooting stars.A honeymoon on Maui is truly an unforgettable event. There’s so much to discover that you’ll be talking about it for years afterwards, perhaps even to your grandchildren. Beware Maui Jim Warranty!,
Our Maui’s developed a slight crack exactly where the screw was fastened. We returned them for their “2 year warranty,” since we only had them a few months. After a couple weeks we got a postcard from “Joan” in the repair dept. telling us that these were discontinued and that we could select another $300 pair for “30% off retail.” When we explained that would be more than we paid through the awesome Amazon system, she said we were out of luck! She even trashed Amazon as “discounting discontinued models” when our model was described as a new model on their own website! “What about the warranty?” She said, well, there seem to be other cracks (implying a drop, etc.). In other words, no honoring warranty unless you pay to replace them for MUCH more than you’d pay new on Amazon! IMPORTANT: This review is NOT against any of Amazon’s fine vendors, it is about Maui Jim itself. If you want a great brand of sunglasses at half the Maui price, with FAR more honest customer service, and no “phony” warranty, try Oakley’s new radar range or other models *NEW* OAKLEY RADAR RANGE Sunglasses l Metallic Red Frame/VR28 Black Iridium Lens. Maui’s are cool, but if you encounter any problems, don’t count on their warranty to be even close to honorable.

|Great glasses for pilots, or anyone who needs glasses under headset, or ear-protection.,
The supper thin frames are the solution to my problem. As a helicopter pilot, I got headaches from my sunglasses due to them being pushed against my head by the headset. Finally I can fly without pain. They are light enough that you shouldn’t leave them on a table on a windy day, and you will often forget that you have them on your face. The polarization is excellent, and the clarity is as good as any pair of glasses I’ve had before.
